The Legend of the 3 Sisters is a powerful story.  For centuries Native Americans planted corn, squash and beans together.  The corn grew tall and gave support to the beans that would grow up the stalks.  The beans would help keep the corn from blowing over in the wind.  Squash, or pumpkins, were planted around the two of them to shade the ground and help keep the weeds down and to prevent the loss of precious moisture.  The three grew strong and depended upon each other, just as three sisters do.  Our Body, Mind and Spirit are much the same…one cannot grow if the other two are not also growing.   In this picture there are also quartz crystals, a water jug, the tassels and husks from the corn, and lavender.  Together they represent Earth, Wind, Water and Fire.  Be blessed.  Support each other and grow.
